Patients often have to reschedule their appointments for many different reasons. Thankfully, rescheduling a patient’s appointment in FollowApp is simple. Please watch the following videos to see how you can edit a patient’s appointment date and the associated doctor.

Reschedule an appointment via the Patient Profile

Step by step guide

  • Navigate to the Patients tab using the left-hand navigation bar

  • Select the patient's Centre using the dropdown at the top of the page

  • Search for the patient’s Name or Patient ID using the search bar in the top right of the page

  • Click on the patient’s row to navigate to their Profile

  • In the Timeline section of the Profile, find the visit you would like to reschedule, and click on the settings icon

  • Click on ‘Edit Visit’

  • From the pop-up, you can change the Date, Doctor, Secondary Contact, and Communication type

  • **NOTE: You can also press ‘Cancel Visit’ to halt all scheduled messages to this patient.

  • Click ‘Save Visit’ to finish

Reschedule an appointment via the Visits Page

Step by step guide

  • Navigate to the Visits tab using the left-hand navigation bar

  • Search for the patient’s Name or Patient ID using the search bar in the top right of the page, or you can find the visit from the list using the Date filters at the top of the page

  • Find the appropriate visit

  • On the right hand side, you will notice an icon that will allow you to edit the visit

  • Click on the ‘Edit Visit’ icon

  • From the pop-up, you can change the Date, Doctor, Secondary Contact, and Communication type

  • **NOTE: You can also press ‘Cancel Visit’ to halt all scheduled messages to this patient.

  • Click ‘Save Visit’ to finish
